Marshall Hall Levy operates from premises situated on Fowler Street, South Shields. There are no branch offices. The office is open from 9am until 5pm Monday through to Friday but appointments outside of these hours and home visits can be arranged. The office is modern and suitable for disabled access.

Keith Turnbull has more than 30 years experience and knowledge within the legal profession. He has been Principal at Marshall Hall Levy since 2000. He has a very broad legal knowledge and experience but in recent years has focused on litigation.
He has been a keen sportsman having played cricket and rugby for Sunderland and Durham County. In addition he has held both a glider pilots licence and a private pilot’s licence. He enjoys socialising with family and friends and foreign travel.
Janice Walker qualified as a solicitor in 1997 and joined Marshall Hall Levy in 2007 as Head of the Private Client Department, being responsible for the day to day running of that department. Her specialism is Wills and Probate. Janice has gained a broad range of experience during her career and is highly regarded by her peers in the profession.
Janice has a son and a daughter as well as two grandchildren who were both born in 2015. Janice enjoys socialising and spending her spare time with family and friends, and especially loves spending as much time as possible with her two grandchildren. She is a keen amateur photographer and loves walking, often spending time at the weekend combining both in and around Tynemouth and the surrounding coastline. Janice sings in a local women's choir, and is actively involved in fundraising for local charities.
Chris Fudge joined Marshall Hall Levy as a paralegal in January 2013 having had a wide and varied legal experience previously. In January 2014 Chris was offered and accepted a training contract and qualified as a solicitor in September 2015. Chris is enjoying the broad range of legal experience being provided by Marshall Hall Levy. Chris enjoys residential conveyancing as well as commercial work, landlord and tenant matters, family and litigation generally.
Chris is a keen sportsman focusing on weightlifting where he has competed at national level and is a keen sprinter. Chris continues to train on a regular basis. Chris enjoys socialising with family and friends. Chris has a wide and eclectic music collection which he listens to regularly.
Jimmy has worked in the legal profession since leaving school and has more than 40 years experience. Jimmy is a well known and well respected conveyancer in the north east. Jimmy has a particular interest and knowledge of both South Tyneside leases and also North Tyneside leases both of which are unique to the North East.
Jimmy enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters. Jimmy is a Sunderland supporter (long suffering). Jimmy enjoys travel both in the UK and over seas and is shortly going to spend 6 weeks visiting relatives in New Zealand. Jimmy enjoys good food and good wine and reading.
Sharon has worked in the legal profession since leaving school at the age of 16 working her way up from Office Junior to eventually qualifying as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in October 2012. She joined our firm in February 2015 and specialises in Residential Conveyancing.
Sharon lives with her partner of 12 years and in her spare time Sharon enjoys spending time with her daughter especially taking her swimming and to the parks in the summer.
Joanne has worked in the legal profession for over 20 years and is a fully qualified legal executive. Joanne has been employed at Marshall Hall Levy for over 13 years as cashier where she is responsible for maintaining the accounts and also dealing with the Legal Aid agency and other outside providers.
Joanne lives with her family and enjoys foreign holidays in the sun and relaxing on the beach.
Alex started work at Marshall Hall Levy when she left school as a part time office junior. She then worked her way up to a legal secretary, firstly working in the family department and presently working in the private client department dealing with Wills, Probate and Powers of Attorney.
Alex successfully completed a University degree at 2:1 level in 2014. She is currently undergoing a further degree at CILEx Law School in order to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive Lawyer.
Natalie has worked at Marshall Hall Levy since July 2010 where she is employed as the secretary for the Principal. Natalie has had over 10 years experience working as a secretary in the legal profession.
Natalie lives with her partner of 14 years in Sunderland with their 2 year old daughter. Natalie enjoys spending time with her family and friends both at home and outdoors. Natalie likes travel.
Katie is one of the newest members of the firm. She is currently training in the litigation and commercial department as a secretary.
In her spare time she likes to spend as much time as possible with her 5 year old daughter, taking her swimming and to the beach. Katie also likes to socialise with her friends and family.
Barbara trained and qualified at a teacher and worked in this capacity before leaving to have her family. She took time out in order to look after her family. Barbara joined Marshall Hall Levy as a receptionist in 2000. She is responsible for greeting clients and potential clients, answering the telephone and making diary entries and dealing with the post generally.
Barbara enjoys gardening, socialising with family and friends. She enjoys travel, music, good food and her new grandson.
